What’s the difference between Movement F1rst and other traditional physical therapy clinics?

At Movement F1rst you will spend over one hour 1-on-1 with a highly specialized movement specialist, having earned their Doctorate’s in Physical Therapy and gone through extensive training in bio-mechanical movement analysis. You will work alongside your therapist from start to finish, developing a program that best suits your needs.

Do you accept my insurance?

Movement F1rst operates as a cash-based clinic and we accept cash as well as all major credit card companies. We believe in giving ownership of the process to our clients by removing the need to obtain authorization from insurance companies to address their problems. You are in charge.

Do I need to have an injury before coming in?

Our services encompass rehabilitation from injuries as well as performance training. We aim to empower our athletes to take a mindful approach and attentively notice when their body feels off. A great number of injuries can be avoided when these early warning signs are addressed. At Movement F1rst, we seek to decrease the time an athlete is off the field by getting ahead of future injury risks.

What if my team is traveling? Do you offer your services remotely?

Yes, we understand that every athlete’s schedule is different and requires periods on the road. We work on developing programs for our athletes to take on the road via an app that provides programs, exercises and video demonstrations. For longer periods we also conduct regular check-ins, through your preferred method of communication, in order to provide any necessary adjustments.

Do I need to be in a team to receive treatment at Movement F1rst?

Although the majority of our athletes play at the professional or collegiate level, we welcome everyone at all levels. Improving movement can help anyone from professionals to weekend warriors, and especially those that have no formal experience with exercise.
