Nate Jeffries earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Southern California in 2018. While at USC he earned three academic merit scholarships and was awarded the Kathleen Bice Clinical Excellence Scholarship. In DPT school he completed clinical internships in both orthopedic and neurologic settings, including at Movement F1rst. He completed his final full-time clinical internship with Fischer Sports Institute in Phoenix, AZ, gaining extensive experience working with MLB, NFL, and NFL combine preparatory athletes.

Nate believes in a functional, patient-centered, and movement driven approach to care. He has completed both the Certification in Applied Functional Science (CAFS) and 3-Dimensional Movement Analysis and Performance System (3DMAPS) certification through the Gray Institute. He has also completed certifications in Fibroblaster Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM), blood-flow restriction training (BFR), myofascial decompression cup therapy, and is a Certified Stick Mobility Coach.

Prior to physical therapy school Nate earned his Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) certification and worked as a high school strength & conditioning coach overseeing football, baseball, and softball athletes. He completed his B.S. degree in Kinesiology from California State University Fullerton, graduating magna cum laude in 2014.
